Presale Start of the New Album by THE CORTINA PROTOCOL - ´Verdetto Di Follia’ is the second album from The Cortina Protocol: an acid-soaked evocation of paranoid 70s Euro-crime cinema, and discordant 60s musique concrete. 
Formed in 2021, and lead by Matthew Rozeik (Necro Deathmort / Rozzer), The Cortina Protocol channels the raw and immersive psychedelia of 1970s crime and thriller soundtracks. Unlike his work with Necro Deathmort, or his solo electronic work, which is fastidiously constructed, The Cortina Protocol is spontaneously composed, and recorded quickly and ruthlessly with a primitive analogue brutalism. The nucleus of the album is the angular funk of James Johnston’s drums, weaving in a variety of stringed instruments and controlled microphonic feedback to create a hazy narrative tension, punctuated by moments of languid jazz-flecked introspection.  Captured to tape at Johnston’s Cowshed Studio in North London, produced by Rozeik, and mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano (Paradise Lost / Ghost / Ulver).
