Story

Clint Harris is one of the best hired Killers of the Organisation but he ´s done with it and wants to leave the business. The Organisation gets him for a last job to get rid of a traitor and this time even with a partner. The target is hard to locate because that person has done a face-change operation. The two Killers are on the hunt but after some time it is unclear who to trust and how to finish the mission......

The film's seriousness, together with the cool visuals and slow pace, positions "Tecnica di un Omicidio" more in the direction of Jean-Pierre Melville's "Le Samourai" (1967) then the usual direction of Eurocrime movies.

„Hired Killer“ is a impressive Gangster movie with an american look, an outstanding cast and with a fantastic score.

Story

John Harris ist einer der Besten und gründlichsten Auftragskiller den die amerikanische Mafia in ihren Diensten hat. Doch es reicht ihm und will sich nach seinem letzten Auftrag zurückziehen. Die Organisation kann ihn zu einem allerletzten Auftrag überreden, dieses Mal sogar mit einem Partner. Doch die zu eliminierende Person ist nicht einfach auszumachen - die Zielperson hat sich einer Gesichtsoperation unterzogen. Die beiden Killer machen sich auf die Spur und nach einiger Zeit ist unklar wer wen noch trauen und wie der Auftrag beendet werden kann.....

In seiner Ernsthaftigkeit, verbunden mit der kühlen Optik und dem ruhigen Tempo, verwies „Tecnica di un omicidio“ mehr in Richtung Jean-Pierre Melvilles „Le samourai“ (Der eiskalte Engel, 1967) als in Richtung EUROCRIME.
